Teams display their “can-do” attitude by creating a sculpture out of canned food items. After being judged for creativity, the cans are donated to a local food bank.

We will review and conduct a debriefing after the challenge:

How would you say you worked as a team?

Who led the team during the challenge? Did you have more than one leader?

How did you come up with the design? Did everyone agree with the design?

If you had to do something differently next time, what would you do?

How did you manage your time effectively?

Spud Racer

Typically, when you talk about produce and heat in the same sentence, it’s time for dinner. But, not in this team building activity! Teams create racecars out of fruit, vegetables and materials provided. Then they race them on pinewood derby inspired tracks in a series of heats to determine the overall winner!

Race Car Racing

Race Car Racing is an exciting team building event that has teams assembling race-worthy Lego stylecars on a Pro Brick Derby Car Chassis racing down a Pinewood Derby track. Teams are put to several task challenges to gain points and to be rewarded with packets of Lego bricks to build onto their Lego Derby Car Chassis to be used by each team to build their fastest car.

During vehicle construction, other members of the team will be decorating the driver’s jumpsuit to look the part of a real racer and will also create two colorful posters showing their team spirit. The teams prepare a Winner’s Chant to fire up their team spirit and use a Bluetooth speaker to play the theme song.

When their cars are done being built, each of the teams will have access to the racetracks for valuable, timed practice runs. If needed, each of the teams will be able to tweak their cars for additional speed before the race time.

Teams will then be assigned to a track number. They will race in three timed heats against each other to win a spot in the final race of the day.The top winners will face off in the final heat vying for the gold medals, and the chance to be called Race Car Racing Champions!

Grapevine Game Show

This is one event your teams won’t “wine” about because it’s a blend of fun education and entertainment. Our wine expert gives your teams insight into the science of wine and then teams compete in a variety of challenges to see how well they “drunk in” the information. Can they determine which wine they’re tasting is the higher quality? Can they determine the prices of the wines?

Egg Escape Rocket

Groups work together to tackle the challenge of firing an egg onto a landing area without breaking it. They must present, design and build their rocket before competing against other teams. The team that lands their egg closest to the landing area wins the challenge.

We will review and conduct a debriefing after the challenge:

How would you say you worked as a team?

This fast-paced construction and launch program starts with a fun event involving piecing together mini catapults that we will provide. We will break into teams, and work together in a competitive event in which teams use their creative brainpower and problem-solving skills to construct a working catapult. When completed, this catapult will launch objects for distance and accuracy. Each team takes 10 minutes to look at our already made catapult with a hands-off inspection and sketching of the design. At the word “GO,” teams will access their materials and start building to recreate the same design. With only 30 minutes to build and test the launcher, there is no time to waste.Completed catapults are put to the test during two separate takeoff phases, which truly add to the challenge of this fun team building event.

Takeoff Phase 1 is the catapult launch for distance competition where teams compete to see who can launch the farthest using different objects. At the end of the first takeoff phase, points are totaled.

Takeoff Phase 2 tests the catapult launch for accuracy competition with team members catching objects in different sized containers. During this hilarious takeoff phase of the catapult competition, each team attempts to gain more points.

When the competition ends, the final scores will be totaled, and the winning teams announced and presented with a culinary gold medal. All other teams win the jumbo rosette red, white and blue style state fair ribbon.

Speed Networking Challenge

This event consists of a series of fun, challenging activities combined with interactive get-to-know-you discussions designed to promote fellowship and enhance connections. The excitement begins with a 20-minute group energizer called “Build A Castle.” For the second round, everyone will move to another pre-assigned table and engage in a 30-minute “Mystery Touch” event, designed to immerse them in a fun shared challenge. Once the second challenge is completed, everyone will move to yet another pre-assigned table and engage in another fun event in our third round, “M&M’s Talk.” For the fourth and final round, everyone will tell “Two Truths and one False” statement.

By teams moving to different tables, this ensures that everyone is meeting and interacting with different participants. Everyone continues to network, rotating to new table groups, and completing new tasks all while engaging in fun, interactive challenges. Each activity creates a dynamic energy in the room, as all of the tables are alive with new ideas being exchanged. At each rotation doors open, new relationships are built and new skills are learned, as well as the strengthening of existing bonds.

Build A Castle

– By using marshmallows and spaghetti and attaching them together you will make your very own castle. The castle with the tallest height wins. Measure from the bottom marshmallow to the top marshmallow.

Mystery Touch

– Place various items in several containers such as paper bags or cardboard boxes and let guests feel inside each container and guess the contents. Look for items that vary in texture and contain an element of surprise. Try exotic fruits, brown sugar, crackers, dry beans, salad mix, salad dressing, a bottle of hot sauce – whatever you can think of.

M&M’s Talk

– Without stating why, invite guests to grab a small handful of M&Ms but not eat them yet. For every M&M, each person must say one thing about themselves.

Two Truths and a False Statement

– Everyone writes three things about themselves on a piece of paper – two true statements and one false statement. Each person then reads their own statements and everyone else tries to guess which one is false.

Balloon Sculptures Team Building Activity

We split the group into teams, and they are tasked with creating four balloon sculptures. First we get fired up with a fun timed icebreaker by having the teams make their first balloon sculpture. This event is a competition by creating the tallest free-standing tower using only balloons and no tape. With everyone having the same styles and number of balloons. The team with the tallest tower wins points in this competition. For the second challenge, the teams are tasked to build a balloon sculpture hats for themselves. For the third challenge, the teams are tasked to create a famous landmark. Projects can include the San Francisco Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, The London Eye and more. For the fourth and final challenge, the teams are tasked to recreate an icon from a famous movie. Projects can include Marilyn Monroe, King Kong, King Tut, Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man and more.

This activity works great with team members that have different jobs and allows team members to show their creativity and make new connections.

Batman and Robin Communication Skills

We start by having the group thinking and talking out loud about a list of well know pairs. For example, Tom and Jerry, Batman and Robin, Bert and Ernie, Hamburgler and Fries, R2D2 and C-3PO, Salt and Pepper, and so on. We write the names on sheet of paper and the group then tapes one of the sheets to each person’s back. We then have everyone mingle and try to figure out the word on their back. The only rule is that they can only ask each other yes or no questions. Once they figure out their word, they need to find the other half of their pair. When they find each other, have them sit down and find three things they have in common while the rest of the team continues the search.

Large Block Jenga Dare

This one is a fun team building event that works well and will get your team to test their limits of large block Jenga. We start off by having each group member write a fun dare on the surface of each Jenga block. The dares must be fun and comfortable for everyone in the group. The dares can be 10 jumping jacks, walk like a Cowboy, do a model runway walk, pretend to be the person to your right, eat a mouthful of crackers and try to whistle, have a conversation with yourself for one minute, tell everyone who your favorite celebrity crush is, sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star out loud, etc. When all the blocks have dares on them, we stack them up like in Jenga. Then each group member pulls a block out, they have to perform the dare that’s written on it.

Minute To Win It Style Games!

Have you ever played any ‘Minute to Win It Style Games? If not, you’re missing out on some ridiculous fun that your group will love. Your group, also known as players, will face off in ten challenges utilizing everyday household items like rulers, stuffed animals, candy, etc.

There are lots of Minute to Win It games that your group will love and be excited about–setting up fun and exciting ultimate team building games. Pick the ten you like the most for your group.

Dizzy Mummy

This hilarious game takes almost no time to set up and is sure to have everyone in the room “spinning” with laughter! The player attempts to wrap himself or herself from head to toe in toilet paper by spinning in circles. We love this game because it’s quite difficult to pull off in just 60 seconds and funny for all other players to watch.

How’s It Hanging

Each player has just 60 seconds to prove that it really is all about the moves! This game is unbelievably hilarious and the awkwardness factor for the player just makes it funny. The player ties a string to a banana and ties the other end of the string to the his or her waist. There is a hula hoop and two oranges on the ground outside the hula hoop just a few feet away. The player must use only the banana to move both oranges inside the hula hoop.

Mad Dog

This challenge, while being hilarious, is NOT so simple. The player must move his head sideways and up and down in order to empty two Tic-tac containers attached to a ruler before the time is up. If they can pull it off, they earn the title of Top Dog! This is another amazing opportunity to capture a truly hilarious video!

Card Ninja

Card Ninja really tests the player’s aiming and tossing skills. This is the perfect Minute to Win It game to play in head-to-head format against another player. We start with half a watermelon sitting on its side in the bowl, with the inside part towards the player. The player holds a deck of cards in preparation to throw them when the clock starts. When the clock starts, the player flicks the cards (one by one) toward the watermelon, in an attempt to get one to stick in the soft pink part of the fruit before the minute is up.

Match Maker

Players must sort colored candies into cups, one at a time. Focusing more on skills than the laughter aspect, this is a fantastic and intense game. No eating allowed. When the clock starts, the player takes the candy and separate it by color in cups. This continues until all of the candies have been sorted and are in their cups.

Junk in the Trunk

Junk in the Trunk one of our favorites for the fun and laugh factor. This super funny Minute to Win It game requires the player to really work their hips and get active in order to win the challenge. Shake your hips, jump up and down, drop it like it’s hot; whatever you have to do to get all of the ping pong balls out of the tissue box strapped to your waist. This challenge is hilarious for the audience.

Nose Dive

This challenge involves moving cotton balls from one bowl to another using nothing but your nose! Petroleum jelly is placed on a paper plate, and the bowl of cotton balls is positioned next to it. The empty bowl is positioned a few feet away. When the clock starts, the player dips his or her nose into the petroleum jelly to place some on the tip of their nose. They then attempt to pick up one of the cotton balls using only their nose. When the player has secured a cotton ball, they move to the empty bowl and deposit it there, without using their hands. They must transfer FIVE of the cotton balls from the full bowl to the empty one without using their hands before the 60 seconds is up.

Sticky Situation

Players must bounce a ping pong ball just right in order to land it on a piece of bread covered in peanut butter. It’s a little more difficult than it sounds but is super fun. A slice of bread is covered with peanut butter is placed on a plate and place on a table. The player holds the first ping pong ball in preparation for the challenge. When the clock starts, the player throws the ping pong ball at the ground, in an attempt to get it to bounce once and then land on the bread within 60 seconds.

Hanky Panky

A super fun game that requires players to completely empty two tissue boxes at the same time before the 60 seconds is up. This one is certainly intense and challenging game and requires players to call upon their dexterity and speed in order to win. Everyone loves this one because they get to make a mess on purpose and potentially win at the same time!

The ultimate game of concentration and agility, Hangnails forces players to slow down and move with care rather than speed. This is an exciting and intense game that is perfect for everyone.

A piece of string is secured at both ends (tied around doorknobs, pinned to the walls, etc.) before the challenge begins. The player must hang all six nails by the head on the string within the 60 seconds in order to win.

Mouth to Mouth

You’ve seen the “pull the tablecloth” trick requiring the performer to remove the tablecloth quickly and without disturbing the table settings. Well this one is very similar except it requires the player to remove a dollar bill from between two bottles stacked mouth to mouth…without knocking over the bottles. The game is set up by stacking the bottles like so: the bottom bottle is placed right-side up, the dollar bill is placed over the mouth of the bottle. Then, the top bottle is placed upside down, with the mouth directly on top of the dollar bill and the mouth of the bottom bottle. The player attempts to remove the dollar bill from between the bottles without knocking the bottles over. If he or she knocks the bottles over, they must place the bottles back in the starting position and try again. They must successfully remove the dollar without knocking the bottles over before the minute is up.

Mega Bubble

We love this challenge and its creativity and uniqueness. The player acts the part of the bubble tamer and works to manipulate a bubble through a hoop five feet away using only their breath! This is a hilarious and fun challenge perfect for everyone. A hula hoop is set up 5 feet away from the player or players. When the clock starts, players blow a bubble and attempt to maneuver it (using only their breath) across those 5 feet and through the hula hoop. Players must get the bubble through the hoop within 1 minute to win the challenge.

If the bubble bursts or goes in a different direction and players cannot retrieve it, they must go back to the start and blow another bubble.

Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire is an intense, exciting game that requires great aim and speed. The goal is to use only a rubber band to knock down a pyramid of empty soda cans. This is a great challenge for everyone. We start with 6 soda cans are set up in a pyramid (3 on the bottom, 2 in the middle and 1 at the top). The cans are placed on a stool or table approximately 6-8 feet from the player.

The player attempts to knock the soda cans over by flicking rubber bands at the pyramid. They must knock the entire pyramid over before the 60 seconds is up.

Hoop de Loop

Forget the ring toss game, Hoop de Loop is so much more fun. For this challenge, players or teams will need to manipulate a hula hoop across the floor and over the soda bottle targets to win. This one requires some skills with a hoop and also speed and dexterity. The player stands with the hula hoop before the clock starts. Three soda bottles are filled with water and set up in a triangle (one in the front and two behind and flanking the first). When the clock starts, the player attempts to roll the hula hoop in such a way that it travels to the soda bottles and “rings” them.

Bucket Head

For this challenge, players will not only have to be good at balancing, but at aiming and catching as well. The point is to bounce a ping pong ball off the floor, and then the wall, and catch it in a bucket balanced on top of the head with one hand. The ping pong balls are placed in a bowl on a table near where the player will stand. They should stand with a wall about 5-6 feet in front of them. He or she balances the pail or bucket on their head with one hand and takes a ping pong ball in the other hand. When the clock starts, the player will bounce the ping pong ball on the floor, with the goal of making it hit the wall in front of them and bounce up into the air.

They will then attempt to catch the ping pong ball in the bucket balanced on their head. They must catch 3 ping pong balls in the bucket before the 60 seconds is up.

This Blows

This Blows requires players to blow up balloons and use the air inside of them to knock over a whole line of cups on a table. This game requires speed, aim and agility. This is definitely an intense and exciting, entertaining game to watch. The challenge is set-up by placing 15 cups upside down on a table. The player is given a balloon before the clock starts. When the clock starts, the player will blow up the balloon and use the air inside of it to knock over the cups on the table. They must blow the balloon back up when it runs out of air and knock all 15 cups off the table within 60 seconds to win the challenge.

Defying Gravity

For this challenge, players must keep 3 balloons afloat without letting them hit the ground for the entire minute. We love the throwback to the kids’ game and it is quite similar. It’s fun, exciting and requires coordination and agility. The 3 balloons are inflated before the clock starts. The player holds them as he or she waits for the clock to start. When the clock starts, the player tosses the balloons and then must keep them afloat (without touching the ground at all) for the entire minute. If a balloon touches the ground, the player loses the challenge.

In this game the player will attempt to defy gravity. Five tiers of cans must be stacked in an inverted pyramid, meaning that the bottom tier will have just one can while the top tier will have five cans, without falling over. Not only will players have to be careful, but they will have to be fast. When the clock starts, the player begins stacking his or her cans to create an inverted pyramid. A single can goes at the bottom with a paper plate on top, followed by two cans and a paper plate, then three cans and so on until the player has stacked five cans at the top of the pyramid. The pyramid with the five tiers must be fully created and balanced within a minute in order to win this challenge.

Stick the Landing

This exciting challenge is perfect for a head to head match. In this game, the challenge is to toss a water bottle until you’re able to make it land right-side up. Before the challenge, the water bottle is half-filled with water. The player holds the bottle and stands approximately 5 feet away from the table. When the clock starts, the player tosses the bottle in an attempt to get it to land right-side up on the table. The person must land the bottle correctly within the allotted 60 seconds to win the challenge.

Named for Sputnik the satellite, this challenge requires players to place bendy straws into potatoes and then balance candies on the ends of those straws. It’s extremely creative and has a big laugh factor. When the clock starts, players begin inserting 5 bendy straws into a potato. The long end of the straw should be the end inserted into the potato.Once the 5 straws are in the potato, players will need to balance a candy on the end of the straw that is sticking up. This must be completed within 1 minute for the player to win.

Bobble Head

Bobble Head is a funny challenge that can leave you feeling a little dizzy. A pedometer is hooked to the headband prior to the clock starting. It is then placed on the head of the player.

When the clock starts, the player nods their head to make the pedometer count. The goal is to make the pedometer count to 125 before the minute is up. When playing in a group, the person with the highest number is declared the winner.

Noodling Around

Dexterity, speed, and a little skill is required in this fun friendly challenge. This game requires players to place 6 pieces of penne pasta onto a spaghetti noodle one at a time until all six pieces of penne pasta are on the piece of spaghetti noodle. This game is funny, and has the laugh factor we love. The 6 pieces of penne pasta are placed in a line on the side of a table. The player is given a spaghetti noodle. He or she will start the game with the noodle in his or her mouth. When the clock starts, the player must use only the noodle to pick up all 6 pieces of the penne pasta before the time runs out.

Pink Elephant

We love the uniqueness of this challenge, as well as the difficulty level. To start this game, we assemble the elephant’s trunk using a slinky. A headband is placed on the head and the first 5 coils are placed behind the headband (between the headband and the player’s forehead), with the remaining coils hanging out in front. When the clock starts, the player moves his or her head and body to make the slinky come up and together, to rest on the player’s forehead. The slinky must rest on the player’s forehead, with all coils together, for at least 3 seconds for the challenge to be completed.

Movin’ On Up

This challenge, reminiscent of cup-stacking games, requires a player to move one cup at a time from the top of a stack to the bottom continuously until they move all 39 same colored cups and reach the top of their stack to a single different colored cup. The cups are stacked together, the blue cup at the bottom. The player holds the stack in his or her hands. When the clock starts, the player moves the top red cup to the bottom of the stack, and then continues in this manner until they reach the blue cup once again and move it to the bottom where it was originally.

Penny Hose

The goal is to remove coins from the bottom of a pair of pantyhose by placing one hand each inside the legs. While it sounds fairly easy, it’s actually quite difficult to do. Before the clock starts, a coin is placed in each leg of the pair of pantyhose. When the clock starts, the player begins by placing one hand in each leg of the pantyhose. The goal is to move both hands all the way down the legs and retrieve the coins, before removing the pantyhose from the hands/arms. The hands must work independently, and one cannot aid the other. This game must be completed in 60 seconds.

Paper Scraper

Paper Scraper is an intense and fun challenging game that takes the tradition of houses of cards. The players goal is to build a 10-story house using just index cards within 60 seconds. Preparation for the game, 20 of the index cards should be folded in half to create a crease down the center. The index cards are then placed on the table next to the player. When the clock starts, the player begins to build the tower using 2 of the bent cards and 1 flat card for each story. The player must build a 10-story tower before the minute is up in order to complete and win the challenge.

On the Hook

On the Hook, players must collect a total of four keys by “fishing” them from the edge of a table using a hook created from a chopstick, string and paper clip. This game is incredibly fun and has the laugh factor you’re looking for. The set-up is as follows: a “fishing pole” is created by attaching 9-inch piece of string to a chopstick on one and a paperclip at the other end. The paperclip is bent out on one side to create an upward-facing hook. The four keys are placed on the edge of a table, with their handles with holes in them hanging over the edge. The player places the chopstick in his or her mouth in preparation for the clock to start. When the clock starts, the player moves with his or her head and attempts to catch the four keys on the paperclip “hook.” In order to win the challenge, players must collect all 4 keys in 60 seconds or less.

Nimble Thimble

For this challenge, players must bounce marbles into 6 thimbles which have been placed upside-down on a table. Like this challenge, each player must be nimble and quick to finish this challenge before the time runs out. The thimbles are spaced out sticking to a double-sided tape upside down. The marbles are placed in a cup and next to the player. When the clock starts, players bounce marbles onto the tabletop to get them to land inside the thimbles. Players must get a marble inside each thimble within a minute’s time in order to win the challenge.

Stack Attack

In Stack Attack, you’ll need to create a perfect tower and then restack your cups in one stack and create the tower again. To start, face the table and the 36 cups. When the one minute timer begins, pick up the stack of cups and begin creating a triangular-shaped tower. The bottom row should be made up of eight cups in a straight line, with seven in the next row, six in the next, and so on. Now, it’s time to deconstruct the tower and recreate the stack of cups. Start over again until all of the cups are stacked once again. Build the tower, take it down and build the tower again in 1 minute or less to win the game.

Suck It Up

We start this game by placing two paper plates next together on the table in front of the player with 15 M&M’s on one plate. The player using a straw to suck up the M&M’s one by one and move them to the second plate in one minute.

Marshmallow Toss

This game is a two-person game, so partner up! Standing across the room from each other 10 feet apart, toss the marshmallows one and a time and the other person catches them in a solo cup. How many marshmallows can you sink in one minute? The winner with the most marshmallows wins this challenge.

Scoop It Up

In this game, you use nothing but a spoon in your mouth, transfer six ping pong balls from one bowl to another in less than one minute and with no hands. Hands are only allowed if you drop the ping pong ball, and then they can be used to place the ball back into the original bowl for another transfer attempt.

Nut Stacker

In this game, you need to thread five hex nuts onto a wooden skewer. Using only one hand on the skewer, stack up all five hex nuts in under one minute and you win.

Yank Me

In this game, the players stack four solo cups on top of each other with index cards in between each of the cups. The player starting at the top tries to yank each paper without the cup falling and destroying your tower. The cup must fall on another cup and then another cup and then another cup. Until there are no papers left. Players have one minute to complete this challenge.

Flip Your Lid

The player from each team has a bottle in front of them and a stack of plastic cups. They place the cup upside down on the edge of the table and flip it up. The cup needs to land upside down on the neck of the bottle. The Goal of Flip Your Lid Minute to Win It Game is to flip as many plastic cups onto the mouth of a bottle placed one foot away.

Cup Collection

The player has thirty solo cups in three rows of ten. The player must stack solo cups with one hand one at a time until all thirty cups are in one stack. Players have one minute to complete this game or if you have multiple players, the first player to compete this task wins.

Each player must take two full-sized spools of ribbon or streamers and wind them completely around your arms by doing your best windmill impression.Players must be standing with an end piece of ribbon or streamer in each hand and have their arms at their side. The rest of the spools will be on the floor. When the game begins, the players may start spooling the ribbon around their arms by only moving their arms in a circular motion. If the ribbon rips, players may pick it up and continue. To complete the activity, players must completely spool all of the ribbon around their arms within the 60 second time frame.

Speed Eraser

The goal of this game is to throw pencils so that they land on their eraser ends, bounce and land in seven aligned cups.Players must throw a pencil with only one hand towards the long table. The pencil must bounce off the table on its eraser end, and then flip into the cup, where it must stay. Players must get one pencil into each of the seven cups in this manner in under a minute to win.

Players have 60 seconds to turn over the pieces and reassemble the box cover. If a piece of a puzzle falls to the floor, you must pick it up before continuing on with the puzzle. The final puzzle must be on the table before the 60 seconds is up.

The challenge of this game is to balance 12 sugar cubes on a Popsicle stick held in your mouth for 3 seconds, before the 60 second timer goes off.The player grabs sugar cubes from the bowl and stacks them on their Popsicle stick. The 12 sugar cubes must stay on the stick for 3 seconds. If they fall down, the other teammate can put the fallen sugar cubes back in the bowl, where the player can get them and try stacking again.

The challenge of this game is to break sheets of toilet paper by shooting rubber bands at it, within 60 seconds. Players will stand a line beside a table containing rubber bands. The end of the toilet paper roll is tied to an empty soda can. Two people need to hold each end of the long dowel that has the toilet paper rolls on it. Candy Cane Pick Up

The goal of this game if for the players put a candy cane in their mouth with the curved side pointing up. The players will then use their candy canes to pick up other candy canes that are lying on the table and drop on to a plate. Players come to the table and put one of the candy canes in their mouth, curved side up. When the timer starts, players must “hook” candy canes from the table on the end of the candy cane that’s in their mouth, not just push it off the table. In order to win the challenge, contestants must “hook” 10 candy canes and drop them on to a plate.
